Targeted Advice

Money, and lack of it, can be a real source of anxiety for people. The Targeted Advice Project aims to maximise the disposable income of residents. Income advisors are on hand to make sure people are claiming all the benefits they are entitled to, help fill out benefit claim forms and assist in managing debt.
A dedicated Cancer and Palliative Care Income Advisor supports patients and their families to minimise the impact of ill health and job loss. The advisor offers advice on benefits, money and debt management and representation at appeal tribunals.

The Financial Education Adviser offers a financial education programme to specific groups including: 14-16 year olds; 16-25 year olds; community groups and parent groups.
